in this review i will be focusing on the targets of my first blog post linked here
my first target:
get a job involving office work or involving some aspect of computing- although this is out of college i still feel obliged to say that i have effectively failed at this as every position i have applied to has conflicted with college or i was rejected from the role for various reasons (most predominantly lack of qualifications)
my second target:
achieve merit and distinction on my assignments-i have met with mixed progress on this due to family issues interfering with my college work, this means that i have missed 2 of unit 2 assignments and therefore am not able to achieve merit or distinction on that, this is also true for some for unit 4.
my other tasks are less specific or more focused on improving my method of work.
my third target:
Read the assignment brief to make sure I understand the task- simple idea hard to practice, this has required me to go through the briefings multiple times just so that i have a clear idea of how to go about the assignment to get the pass or merit.
fourth target:
Get my work reviewed- this target was easy to do because when i submitted my work for grading it got reviewed anyway, however what i did as an extra was if i was unsure on specific areas i would ask my instructor to go over that section and give me advice on what was wrong and what could be improved.
my last target:
organize my time- when i started this blog i was also doing a MOS course that took up my Thursdays however i have finished that course and have plenty of free time to balance college work and socializing
conclusion:
i still have much room for improvement in my work and my other targets.
